Shangombo Town Council has conducted financial literacy training for all approved beneficiaries of the 2025 Constituency Development Fund (CDF) Empowerment Grants and Loans.
The training aims to equip beneficiaries with essential financial management skills to ensure effective utilization of funds and promote sustainable livelihoods.
Speaking during the session, Shangombo Member of Parliament, Hon. Mubika Mubika, underscored the importance of prudent use of the funds and timely loan repayment, noting that this would enable more people within the constituency to benefit from the empowerment programmes.
And the beneficiaries pledged to put the funds to good use. They further stressed that the training is timely and will help in sustaining their business.
